So today I received my new travel journal! 😀 Isn’t it beautiful?!

A few weeks ago I got in touch with a lovely family who I will be Au Pairing with for a few months (exciting times! :D) So what better opportunity to splash out (well a mini splash anyway) on a new journal? 😀 Whenever I go anywhere I love to keep track of all of my experiences in a scrapbook with pictures and tickets and all sorts thrown in there to look back on (check out my scrapbooking essentials guide here). During my time studying in the States I had tons of fun with this, collecting stamped coins and all sorts to throw in there and they are now some of my most prized possessions. These things are also great to keep track of all of the restaurants and other places I want to visit again and things I learned from the trip that I will need to remember if I ever go there again.

Usually I use the mixed page journals from Badbooks on Etsy as they are super helpful in the design process, but this time I thought I should go with something a little different in preparation for my trip to Au Pair in Spain (something you will be hearing ALL about in the coming months). Mainly, I love that I can slot the pages in and out of it and the mini aeroplane marker to hold my place it so cute! I’m going to have a LOT of fun scribbling away in this one!
