A catch up with an old friend and a spare few hours called for a more-than-your-average cuppa. Stomachs hungry for cakey-goodness we headed out to a place that had been recommended to us time again in the tiny village of Whitmore, Newcastle-under-Lyme.Continue reading “Tea in Staffordshire – Whitmore Tea Rooms”
A sunny Easter holiday saw us making the drive across to Leicester to visit somewhere i have had my sights set on for a while. Boasting space suits, astronaut training (ish) and a glorious domed screen, the space centre is a trip around the moon and more.
