A week off during Spring Break saw us sifting through the ‘same old’ to pounce on the deal of a lifetime. One week sun-worshipping in the beautiful Montego Bay. One missed flight later, we were there. Our first glimpse of the Caribbean in all of its glory. Read on for how we did it, and what we got up to whilst we were there.Read more »
Heading to the west coast of the U.S.A is a sweet jar filled to the brim with sights to see. Vegas sits as the sparkling gem at the centre of it all. Here is a round up of my favourite things to do in the so-called ‘Sin City’ from the time I spent there.

In the words of John Lennon, “another year over, and a new one just begun”. 2018 was a whirlwind of a year, I visited an island I had barely even heard of the year before, joined the English Heritage, and the National Trust, and finally got to visit my friend at home in Warsaw after a year of promising. Completely hidden from view from the road, we were beginning to doubt whether there really was a castle here at all. Where was the imposing fortress the guide book has promised us? Showing our cards we wandered up the bank and as we turned the corner, we suddenly realised what all of the fuss was about.

A land of dipping chasms and captivating lakesides, Montenegro really is one of the most visually stunning places i have ever visited. Often overlooked by those visiting it’s neighbouring Croatia for Game of Thrones sights, Montenegro offers a special something away from the crowds and the perfect opportunity to uncover dreamy landscapes not many get to see.
Head down to the seafront famous for its Game of Thrones scenes and you will find a little harbour packed full of boats. Some privately owned, some advertising trips, here you will find access to the islands that surround Croatia’s Dubrovnik, sights that you’ll kick yourself if you miss.
Starting out on my solo travels, one of the biggest things for me was keeping track of everywhere I had been and all of the amazing pictures and memories I had picked up along the way… enter scrapbooking stage left. But, starting out with notebook in-hand wasn’t so easy, as a self-confessed perfectionist my heart broke as I saw perfect pages laid siege to with a whirlwind of snatched minutes and splodged mementos. Once my initial illusions had been well and truly shattered however, I came to the conclusion that, you know what, this thing was turning into something pretty darn cool.
